Game

This is a big one. This is actually currently my biggest set I’ve mastered, and it’s not even close. The FF4 Four Job Fiesta set, which involves you beating the game three times, is 167 achievements. This is 298.

It is a BIG ONE.

Game

It’s almost doing this game a disservice to review it. I could come on here and give you the True Lore Version. This is a lost copy of Mario 64 found at a garage sale, filled with unknown cursed evils, dive deep. In reality, it’s a romhack based on Mario 64 betas and creepy pastas. Like, obviously. It’s not ACTUALLY a cursed cartridge. But it’s trying to intentionally give that kind of energy, and it succeeds EXTREMELY well at that.

Game

It starts off very simply. You start in a recreation of the Spaceworld demo that, for the longest time, we only had screenshots of. It’s a very nice recreation. You even have the weird beta sound effects that are just old loony toons screams and sped up Michael Jackson for some reason. But then as you collect stars, things… shift. The game constantly changes and shifts in ways that are almost imperceptible. The numbers on doors change, for seemingly no reason. Transitions are non-euclidian. You get a number of stars and now things change even MORE, and MORE, until by the end, your map looks like fucking nonsense, and you have over 400 stars. Yes, there are 450 stars in this hack. It’s a VERY large hack.

Game

If you’re curious, here’s my map I made of this hack. Spoilers, obviously. I’m told this is the most readable map some people have seen. Most of them look like this!!

Game

The most funp art of making your own map is you get to name each hub area based on what YOU think the most important landmarks are. I had lots like “beta lobby”, “vanilla upstairs”, but then I have ones like “Toad Long Hall”, “Slow Giant Castle”, “Red Fog Lobby”, and “Nazca Line Basement”.

There are a LOT of levels and areas to explore in B3313, and while not all of them are bangers, and some are actively annoying (looking at you, Bowser’s Factory), the game is genuinely something impressively magical, and I am straight up sad I will never be able to play it blind again.

Game

There’s just a vibe coming off of B3313. It tastes like nostalgia that you’ve experienced and loved, but shifted, twisted. Changed by your memory, just ever so slightly off where you can convince yourself you dreamed that as a kid, or you had just forgotten. And I fucking love that feeling. I seriously can’t recommend it enough.

Oh, it IS important to note, it does have a few jump scares. If that’s a thing you dislike. There’s not many and they’re PRETTY obvious that they’ll be coming up.
